Life

It’s funny how it happens. Sunday night I was sitting here writing and planning out what I wanted my week to look like. Instead, my week was hijacked by all the adulting nonsense that I didn’t want to do, like cleaning out cabinets and attacking the laundry monster. But, here we are. I submitted a second story despite the stupid stuff and I’m heading into the weekend knowing I’ll be running around enough to wear a hole in the toe of a sock at least one of these nights.

Waitressing. It’s because of waitressing.

I did take a cool picture this week that I was super proud of. I love crows and ravens. These big, beautiful birds are just so cool and I love that you can win them over with food. I had one super close to me yesterday when I pulled into the grocery store. I was wandering around in the parking spot next to me. I said hello, grabbed my bags from the trunk, and turned to see it was still there. We made eye contact for a bit, I told it it was a pretty bird, and walked to the store.

In retrospect, I hope no one was watching me talk to a crow in the Stop and Shop parking lot.
